It's fast enough. It's got a Black Sabbath feel to it at this speed, which is never a bad thing.

First rule of audio production....

Don't mix it just so it sounds good on your media player, make it sound good for everyone, don't get lazy just because you're too assed to turn off the EQ in your media player.

Other than that, it's pretty decent, and doesn't really sound all that "dull", other than the fairly empty sounding intro.

Your second upload on the other hand, is retarded, just making it faster may sound good to you, but (especially with all the god damn clipping), it really sounds terrible to everyone else. Throw a compressor on that shit, at least.

Thanks! I use Anvil Studio for the basic notes, and Audacity for a final equalisation, but because they're not too usable, as you said, I tend to do most of the work in Acoustica Mixcraft.
